JACK DEMPSEY (SIGNED MENU)

Large menu card from Jack Dempsey's International Restaurant, 1619 Broadway, New York City. This very popular hang-out was first opened by Dempsey in 1935, and closed in 1973. The cover has a reproduction of James Montgomery Flagg's painting of the Dempsey/Willard fight in 1919. Signed, dedicated and dated (1969) in ink by Dempsey to the cover.

35 x 24cm. Single folded card. 4cm split along bottom of spine. Edges rubbed and a few light marks. Good.
