MAX BAER SIGNED PHOTOGRAPH 1941

Original sepia photograph of Baer posing in his boxing kit. Dedicated and signed in ink across the front - "To Wm. W. Seward, Jr. Best of luck. Sincerely Max Baer, 1941". Seward was an author and friend of Ernest Hemingway. "Madcap Maxie" was World Heavyweight Champion from 1934  to 1935.

23 x 18.5cm. Small areas of glue residue to reverse. Otherwise in fine condition. Beautifully signed.
