Eddie Barlow's green South African cap, embroidered with the Springbok head and "S.A. 1963-64" from the 1963-64 tour of Australia. Despite ending 1-1, this was possibly Barlow's best series as an individual. He scored over 600 runs at an average of 75.38, including two centuries and his only Test double Century, 201, in the first innings of the 4th Test setting up South AAfrica's 10 wicket victory.
The lining is stamped with the maker's name and bears Barlow's name handwritten in black ink.
Although generally a little creased and worn this item is otherwise in very good condition.
