Archie Jackson (1909-33) was a graceful batsman who many believed would have rivalled Bradman as the greatest batsman of all time. He died tragically young (23) of tuberculosis on the day that England regained the Ashes in the Bodyline series.
First Edition. 8vo. 144pp. 24 b/w plates. Navy blue leather binding, burgundy title label embossed to front with gilt lettering. A very good copy in the original waxed paper protective wrapper. From a Limited Edition of 1000 copies signed by the author
