Manuscript fair copy of Burnby's 1773 poem written in reponse to fellow clergyman John Duncombe's 'Surrey Triumphant' of the same year.

Late Nineteenth century. 4to. 22pp. plus blanks. Internally bright and clean, very occasional very light foxing in parts, not affecting text. Bound in full gilt embossed decorative black leather Marbled endpapers. Spine rebacked. Very small previous owner's initial to half-title, front hinge cracked. Overall very good and a beautiful object.
