An rare and early account of Repton cricket. The final third of the book comprises scores for the matches against Uppingham and Malvern. Repton was the alma mater of the Palairet brothers, CB Fry, JN Crawford, the Ford brorthers, and the author.

8vo. [viii] + 217pp. 5 plates, 3 plans of the school showing the layout and position of the cricket field, 2 diagrams. Original navy blue cloth, sl soiled, with gilt Repton insignia in the form of three birds on a shield above a scroll on the front cover, also the title in gilt lettering, likewise to the spine. A good copy.
