AUSTRALIA 1930 (DOWNSIDE SCHOOL)

Original black and white photograph of the Australian Touring side that visited Downside School in June 1930, along with the Downside XI and Masters.  Accompanied by a photocopy of the match report from "The Raven", which includes a legend for the photograph and a description of its taking. Facsimile signatures of the Australians  to mount below photograph. Bradman was not present.

Overall 42 x 32.5cm. Laid down to heavy card mount. Mount shows some surface loss and foxing at the edges and to reverse. Ownership inscription (Brian Gallagher - who was in the photograph and was presumably a member of the school First XI) to reverse. Gallagher has also signed his name on the front, alongside the fascsimile autographs. Photograph has some surface loss to right hand and bottom edges, otherwise in good condition.
