Original large Press photograph of the All India team being lead onto the field at the Bat and Ball Ground, Gravesend, by their captain, Maharaj Kumar of Vizianagram. They were playing Tich Freeman's XII in the opening match of their tour. The game was drawn. Other players include Wazir Ali, CK Nayudu and Amarnath.

25 x 30cm. Press caption stuck to reverse. A few very light creases, but generally in very good condition.
