Original sepia photograph of the New South Wales team that defeated England by 135 runs at the SCG on November 13-17, 1936. The team included 6 members of the Australian team that took to the field in the first Test match - McCabe, O'Reilly, Chipperfield, Oldfield, Robinson and Fingleton. However, the real difference was the bowling of Harold Mudge, who took 6-42 in England's first innings.
Overall size 32 x 39cm. Laid down to original mount with title and full team legend. Framed and glazed. Some light foxing to mount and a couple of other light marks. Otherwise in very good condition.
