Union-Castle line postcard of the Royal Mail steamer "Arundel Castle". Fully signed on the reverse in pencil by the South African tour party to England - H.G. Deane, A.D. Nourse, S.J. Pegler, G.F. Bissett, D.J. Meintjes, R.H. Catterall, G.A.L. Hearne, T.A. Ward, C.D. Dixon, E.P. Nupen, J.M. Blanckenberg, M.J. Susskind, J.M.M. Commaille, C.P. Carter, H.W. Taylor, P.A.M. Hands and G. Allsop (manager). The card is not signed by G.M. Parker, a Bradford League professional, who joined the tour late.

14 x 9cm. 'S. African Test team 1924' written in ink on the front. Small creases across two corners and some foxing. Good, clear signatures.
