Footall postcard with cameo portraits of the England team that played Germany in Berlin on May 14th 1938. Signed in ink by the full team across their portraits - Woodley, Sproston, Hapgood, Willingham, Young, Welsh, Robinson, Goulden, Matthews, Broome and Bastin. Also signed by Ted Drake, Stan Cullis and A Bateman. England won the match 6-3, but it will be best remembered for England's rendition of the Nazi salute before the game.
14.5 x 10.5cm. Laid down to mountboard. All the autographs are clean and clear, although Robinson's is now a little faded. A lovely item relating to a famous (or infamous) moment in British sport.
