A biography of the Whitcombe brothers, Charles, Reginald and Ernest, whose unrivalled performances in the Open from the mid 1920s to the 40s led them to be selected for the Ryder Cup team. Indeed, in 1935 all three brothers played and Charles was captain in 1949 when his opposite number was the great Ben Hogan.
