Folio. 16 pages of text (pagination begins with title page with contents to verso labelled (v) Further black and white reproductions in text. 18 plates are listed in contents but this volume conatins 19, the last seemingly another Jan Steen piece being a variation on St. Nicholas Day, the 1st plate in the volume. Very good, very minor bumping to some corners of mounts. In the green paper covered boards bound with white cord. Leather, gilt embossed title label adhered to upper. Lacks 'suggestions for framing' to rear and slipcase, overall very good plus. Scarce.
