Sir Henry O'Neil de Hane Segrave (1896—1930) was the holder of three land speed records and the water speed record, and was the first person to hold them at the same time (1926-29). He was also the first person to travel at over 200 mph (320 km/h) in a land vehicle. An Old Etonian, he was born in Baltimore, USA, to an American mother and Irish father.
