NEW ZEALAND 1945

Black and white Press photograph of the Kiwi Army team, before their match with Cardiff RFC on 26 December 1945. The team was made up of soldiers fresh from the battlefield and prisoner of war camps, and was captained by the pre-war All Black, Charlie Saxton. Western Mail and Echo Ltd, Cardiff.
