Original tennis photograph of Miss Sutton (she later married Tom Bundy), who was Wimbledon tennis champion in 1905 & 1907. She was the first non-British winner of the ladies' title (and the first American), but did not return to the championship until 1929, when she reached the quarter-final.
26 x 20cm. Paper loss to corners and a number of tears along the edges. Light creasing throughout. The main part of the image is not adversely affected, and the photograph would frame up very well.
