Photographic album comprising personal and candid photos of family life etc. but primarily of various golf matches in which Moore (as sister of Phyllis Moore, captain of the Stratford Upon Avon Women's team) played alongside, and in some cases was instructed by, such contemporary luminaries as George Duncan, Abe Mitchell, Arthur Havers and Samuel Ryder. Many of the images are from an exhibition match played over the new course at Stratford in 1928, and of the official opening of the new course. Also a few photos of Edward VIII when still Prince of Wales, taken at an agricultural fair.
Landscape format, 54 pages. 59 photos of golfing interest, further 99 candid family photos. Golf photos include at least 5 of the Whitcombes, 11 of Havers, 13 of Duncan, 10 of "Sandy" Herd, 15 of Mitchell, 4 of Ryder, and 10 of Ted Ray. All photos captioned, tipped onto black card. Very good condition throughout, photos and pages remain undamaged and un-marked, the most that can be said is that the volume has been thumbed through. In black card covers with gilt title, bound with contemporary black and gold cord. Very lightly bumped but overall in very good condition.
