Cricket book. End-of-career autobiography by the great Australian batsman.

First edition. 8vo. 320pp. Frontispiece, 27 illustrations. Dust-wrapper, lightly rubbed. Very good. From the collection of Bob Appleyard, the great Yorkshire and England cricketer, with his signed bookplate to front pastedown. Appleyard has also written a long inscription to the tittle-page - "Reminds me of a very pleasant evening Colin Cowdrey and I spent at the Don's home during the fourth test match Adelaide 1955" and has signed it with his initials. Appleyard played four of the Tests in the 1954-55 series, taking 11 wickets. A very nice association copy.
