Typed newspaper report following the disaster in Munich. "In the evening more than 6,000 people filled the King's Hall, Bell Vue, for a solemn High Mass sung in the presence of the Roman Catholic Bishop of Salford, Mgr. G.A. Beck." The report goes on to discuss the managerial style of Matt Busby and Jimmy Murphy, and how the players "look for the cultured movement, the quality pass, the running into right places". It is hard to know what the intention of this report was, as it is both disjointed and incomplete. Signed in ink at the top by Matt Busby, Bill Foulkes, Bobby Charlton and Wilf McGuinness.
33 x 21cm. Single horizontal fold across centre. There is a 17cm tear along the fold line and through the lower half of the sheet, which has been well restored. The signatures are not affected. Very light creasing. Good.
