A rare book of cricket poetry.

8vo. 55pp. Original green boards with gilt title and emblem of a cricketer to front. Limited edition of 250 copies, this one signed by the author and dedicated "For one keen cricketer, H.J. Askew, from another, Norman Gale" to half title-page. This copy also seems to have belonged to Harry Altham with a short handwritten poem in latin loosely inserted with Altham's initials to reverse and a pencil note that this was found in his copy of this book. Also slipped in is a typescript copy of a poem by Hilaire Belloc on cricket.
