Original postcard showing the start of the marathon at the 1906 Intercalated Games in Athens. At the time these were regarded as fully fledged Olympic Games but were ultimately not officially recognised by the IOC. The start was held in Marathon, just like the 1896 Games.

Published by Pallis & Cotzias of Athens. Postally unused. Very good condition.
