1950S FOOTBALL PHOTOGRAPH - GOAL-LINE TECHNOLOGY REQUIRED

An original football photograph, probably from the 1950s and possibly from South America - there is no information on the reverse. The area in front of the goal is a mud-bath and the defender seems to have stopped the ball on the line (or is it just over?). Today it would certainly be a job for goal-line technology, but we have no idea what the decision was that day.

16 x 23cm. A couple of very light creases. Very good condition.

Date
1950s
