Carte de Visite photograph featuring named photographic vignettes of the whole crew - these included the first two rowers to be registered as non-British, Barton of New Zealand and Armytage of Australia. This was also the only time that the race had to be rescheduled (as the result of thick fog). Also included are 2 further unidentified but presumably related portraits.

10.4 x 6.4cm each. Very good condition.
