Life story of Sir Arthur Sims (1877-1969), who played first-class cricket for Canterbury, New Zealand. In 1913/14 he captained an Australian XI, putting on 433 for the 8th wicket with Victor Trumper, still a record for that wicket in first-class cricket.

8vo. 188pp. Portrait frontis, 6 pages of photographs. Some ink notes to last page. No dust-wrapper. Good condition.
