A season-by-season account of the matches and events concerning the Derbyshire Cricket Club during the period 1871 to 1896.

First Edition. Small 8vo. 338pp + 20pp of adverts at the rear. Portrait frontis. Original cloth-backed printed boards, with pinkish discolouration to upper board, light spotting, and two small pieces of cover paper chipped away at the outside edge and by the hinge. Former owner's neat ink inscription to first advert page. Another edition was published in 1899 by the Derby Daily Telegraph carrying approximately 50 more pages. Scarce. [Padwick, 1853]
