Handwritten letter from Albert Alderman to the cricket collector Geoffrey Copinger, who was asking for an item to be signed. In the letter Alderman mentions a recent letter from Frank Peach, who was Derbyshire's statistician and co-founded the club yearbook in 1954. Alderman also played football for Derby County and Burnley.

Single sheet with good, clear signature at bottom. One edge slightly creased but still in very good condition.
