Original sepia postcard of Alma Victor "Champ" Hunt (1910-99), the great Bermudan cricketer and administrator who had trials for the West Indies in 1933 before moving to Scotland, where he played for Aberdeenshire and also for Scotland against the Australians in 1938. In a match against West Lothian Hunt once took 7 for 11 in their total of 48 and then, opening the batting, ended up 49 not out (in just 25 minutes)!

Signed very nicely on the reverse in ink by Hunt with the caption "Yours for brighter and better cricket, Alma Hunt, June 1947". Very good condition.
