Bound volume of 53 official programmes for matches played at Highbury during the 1949-50 football season. Arsenal finished 6th in the league, only 4 points behind the champions, and won the FA Cup for the 3rd time in their history. Includes all league matches and FA Cup matches plus the programme for the final at Wembley against Liverpool and the Charity Shield (Portsmouth v Wolves). Also includes all Combination matches, Arsenal v Middlesex (Denis Compton Benefit, 12th August 1949), Wembley v Islington (A.G. Bower Cup, semi-final replay, 3rd April 1950), Islington v Edmonton (A.G. Bower Cup, final, 25th April 1950), Dulwich Hamlet v Hounslow Town (London Senior Cup Final, 6th May 1950), Essex v Middlesex (F.A. Youth Championship, 13th May 1950).   

Bound in red cloth boards with gilt title to spine. All programmes are in very good condition with very neat scores and team changes recorded in each one. A fine collection, including some rare programmes.
