Bound volume of 57 programmes for matches played at Highbury during the 1952-53 football season, including all league matches and FA Cup matches. Arsenal won the League Championship, pipping Preston North End on goal average. Also includes the Charity Match v Spurs, 4th May 1953, league Combination matches, Combination Cup matches and a range of representative/miscellaneous matches such as Walthamstow Avenue (L.F.A. Challenge Cup - 1st Round, 6th October 1952), Hibernian (Charity Match, 22nd October 1952), Arsenal XI v England Amateur XI (Friendly Match, single-sheet, 10th November 1952), Ipswich Town v Bournemouth & Boscombe Athletic (F.A.Cup 1st Round-2nd Replay, 1st December 1952), Walthamstow Avenue v Manchester United (F.A.Cup, 4th Round Replay, 5th February 1953), Chelsea v West Bromwich Albion (F.A.Cup -4th Round Third Replay, 11th February 1953), England v Wales (Amateur International, 14th February 1953), London v Berlin (Floodlit Inter-City Match, 11th March 1953), Pegasus v Southall (FA Amateur Cup semi-final, March 14th, 1953). 

Bound in red cloth boards with gilt title to spine. All programmes are in very good condition with very neat scores and team changes recorded in each one. A fine collection, including some rare programmes.
