First edition. 8vo. xii + 412pp. + 32pp publisher's catalogue in the rear. Frontis., 19 plates, illustrations in the text. Original green cloth, lightly rubbed to edges. Gilt figure of a footballer kicking the ball to upper cover, title in gilt lettering to the spine, gilt bright all over. A good copy of this football classic. [Seddon, 16]
