Edited by J.A.H. Catton ("Tityrus"). This annual lasted from 1887 to 1945-46, at which point it was incorporated into the Sunday Chronicle Football Annual. Pre-1914 editions are scarce; copies in good condition even more so.

28th year of issue. 12mo. 350pp. 2 full-page illustrations. Rebound in dark blue boards with gilt title to spine. The original covers are not retained but otherwise all contents are present and in good condition. Good condition. Ownership signature of C.F. Pardon to fly-leaf - Pardon was a sports journalist and an early editor of the Wisden Cricket Almanack.
