Original programme from the 1957 Rugby League World Cup held in Australia. This was the final match, played on June 29th, 1957, between Australia and the Rest – a scratch team made up of players from the other competing nations (France, Britain & New Zealand.) All matches were played in either Sydney or Brisbane and Australia were declared champions having finished top of the group with four wins from four. There was no final as such.
