Official programme for the iconic Austria v England international played on May 25th 1952. England won 3-2, Lofthouse's 2 goals earning him the lasting sobriquet of "Lion of Vienna".

Staples removed and replaced very neatly with thread. A large collection of original newspaper cuttings relating to the match are slipped in, as is a hand-signed letter from the Secretary of the Football Association, Sir Stanley Rous. Fine condition.
