The first book published on basketball. Its author was a founder member of the Amateur Basketball Association of England and Wales. Three further editions issued up to 1964.

First Edition. 12mo. 156pp. 27 full-page illustations, diagrams. Greenish-blue cloth, sl rubbed. Dust-wrapper, in pieces but more or less complete, loosely inserted at the back. Previous owner's signature to end-paper. Uncommon.
