Original Press rugby photograph of Boobbyer, who played at centre fro Rosslyn Park, Middlesex, England and the Barbarians in addition to playing for Oxford in three Varsity matches. He played first-class cricket  for Oxford University, for whom he played 40 first-class matches between 1949 and 1952, thus achieving the distinction of becoming a "double Blue".

16.6 x 21.8cm. Original copyright stamp and handwritten annotations to reverse. Slightly wrinkled towards foot, but overall in very good condition.
