Original photograph of the 1938 British Lions aboard the Stirling Castle on their way to South Africa. Each player was presented with a souvenir album of the tour, including many photographs. This photograph belonged to the Coventry and England scrum-half Jimmy Giles who was a member of the tour party, playing in two of the three Tests.

17 x 22cm. Very good condition.
