The fascinating story of how Charles Clapcott, of Devon, England, amassed one of finest golf library's in the world - largely during the period 1923 to 1930 - before selling it to R Otto Probst, an American golf collector. At the back is a list of the 623 books purchased by Probst.

8vo. 79pp. Frontispiece, text illustrations. Red cloth, gilt title to front and spine. Originally presented in a slip case which is not present. Very good condition. Limited Edition of 300 copies, signed by the authors. This was a publisher's copy and was presented by Bob Grant (the publisher) to his friend Sean Arnold. Arnold had a well-known sports antique business in Portobello Road.
