SIGNED

Menu card, with original ribbons, for a dinner held at the Lion Hotel on November 18th, 1931. Signed inside and to back cover by many from both teams, including Ross Logan, George Waller, Jack Watherston, W.H. Leather, C.R. Birdwood, J.I. Rees and C.M. Wells. Cyril Wells played rugby for England in the 1890s but is perhaps best known as a Golden Age cricketer for Surrey and Middlesex. The menu belonged to G.H. "Bill" Bailey, who played in this match and in that year's Varsity Match, and is signed by him to the front. Many people have signed to Bill using only their first names. There are 29 signatories in total.
