CHARLES "FATHER" MARRIOTT (KENT & ENGLAND) CRICKET PHOTOGRAPH

Original cricket photograph. An early picture of one of the best leg-spinners ever to bowl for England. He played for Cambridge University and Lancashire but it is for his time with Kent that he is best remembered. He played a single Test for England, ending with match figures of 11-96. Marriott has signed the front but it is now very hard to see - only if the angle of the light is right. Hence we are not categorising this as a signed item.

13.5 x 18.8cm. Handwritten annotations to reverse. Some light creases, but in generally good condition.

£45.00 (Code: 95199)
