Large 8vo. x + 195pp. 61 plates. Original pale green cloth, gilt title. Dust-wrapper, edges a little rubbed , particularly to head of spine. Inside the back cover is a card pocket containing 6 Diagrams I - VI; one large gridded sheet portraying the court ; envelope containing 12 coloured counters (3 of each colour). Diagram I and Diagram II (to illustrate page 39) missing. A very good copy of this major work on the game.
