Original humorous artwork by the prolific South London cartoonist Jim Mercer commemorating the visit of Real Madrid to Selhurst Park in 1962, when a celebrated performance by 3rd Division Crystal Palace against the Spanish giants saw the match finish 3-4. Presumably this was original artwork for a local paper or club publication.

31.5 x 22cm. Ink on stiff paper with a few original amendments. Lightly worn to top edge. Good/very good condition.
