Official handbook for the 1908 South African Association Football Currie Cup tournament, held between August 19-29, 1908. The inter-provincial tournament was won by Western Province - this was also the first year that Rhodesia entered the competition. The first tournament was played in 1892. Includes articles of constitution, competition rules, history of the Currie Cup, past records, international players, list of fixtures, results page (neatly completed in ink), team colours and full squads, and travel arrangements.

Paperback. 18 x 12.5cm. 46pp. Covers are lightly rubbed with one small chip to edge. Rusty staples have been removed with some neat repair to holes left. Good condition. A rare handbook from the early days of association football in South Africa.
