A biography published soon after Wilkie had won the Olympic gold medal at the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games.

8vo. 180pp. Dust-wrapper. A very good copy. Signed by Wilkie and both authors to fly-leaf. This comes from the private collection of James Coote, the Daily Telegraph Athletics Correspondent for 30 years, who died while flying himself back from the European Athletics Cup in Turin in 1979. Besford was a personal friend and refers to herself as "Mum".
