Invitation card to Don Bennett's wedding (to Sheila Murphy), held in Enfield on October 15th, 1955. Bennett played cricket for many years with Middlesex and was on the books at Arsenal from 1950-59. The card is signed in ink by many of his sporting colleagues at Middlesex and Arsenal, including Con Sullivan, Leslie Compton, Bill Dodgin, Don Oakes (all Arsenal), Don Bennett, Fred Titmus, Harry Sharp, Jim Sims, Jack Young, Alan Moss, Alex Thompson and Reginald Routledge (possibly). There is also one unidentified autograph of an Arsenal player.

Folded card with ribbon. A few small grubby marks. 18 x 12cm. Good condition.
