Handwritten letter from Bradman, while in London, to a well-wisher, dated August 29th 1948. This was just a few days after his last Test match and two days after his 40th birthday. "It was very sweet of you to send me that birthday present ...Good luck to you and I hope you play in a Test some day. Yours Sincerely, Don Bradman."

18 x 14cm. Single sheet. Central horizontal fold mark beginning to split. Good condition.
