Willie Watson (1920-2004) played soccer for Huddersfield Town, Sunderland, Halifax Town, and England, gaining his first football cap in the 9-2 thrashing of Northern Ireland in 1949. He also played cricket for Yorkshire and Leicestershire and 23 times for England.

8vo. 176pp. 14 pages of photographs. Dust-wrapper, lightly rubbed. Very good condition. Signed by Watson (not dedicated) to fly-leaf and also to bookplate laid down to front pastedown.
