The book looks at evidence gleaned from the Delvine Papers, which were presented to the National Library of Scotland in 1926, of golf in the early 18th century. Includes a set of accounts fror 1712-15 (with a facsimile sheet included) showing a variety of golf balls and clubs being purchased.
