EDWARD BANKS (KENT) 1848 CRICKET LETTER

Handwritten letter in ink from Banks to Mr Smithson, the then Hon. Sec. of Kent CCC, declining his invitation to play due to ill health. Probably dates from 1848 or 1849. Accompanied by typewritten transcript. Banks played for Kent from 1842-46.

11.2 x 17.7cm. A number of heavy vertical folds but still in very good condition.
