Original Press photograph showing the full England squad and staff having lunch at an hotel in Rome on May 23rd, 1952. They were en route from Siena to Vienna for a match against Austria on May 25th. They had played Italy in Florence on May 18th, drawing 1-1. Players include Ramsey, Merrick, Dickinson, Eckersley, Finney (reading the paper and not looking at the camera!) etc.

20 x 25cm. Press caption pasted to reverse. Very good condition.
