Rugby League postcard. Real photographic image of the England team that played New Zealand at Wigan on January 11th, 1908. England won the match 18-16. Ten days earlier the "All Golds" had played Wales in what is now accepted as the very first rugby league international match (played under the Northern Union rules). After the match against England they played 3 Tests against Great Britain.

Postally used and dated 1909. Very good condition. A rare image.
